Utes Quilt

So this post is mainly for Jessica because she wanted to see my quilt

It's not very good because I designed it and didn't have a pattern to go by.

I just figured the dimensions of a queen size and figured out how many

squares I would need. I made it for Tim for Valentines day last year.

Its a Utah Utes blanket because thats his favorite college football team.

I have only made one other quilt and I just designed the top and

it was for relief society and they were going to tie it and give it to

families that needed them so I don't have a picture of that one

I used the white material with the utes logo and detail to make the U.

Jill let me use her sewing machine to sew the ends of the quilt because mine isn't

very good when the fabric is thick.

Vanella's Birthday

Tim Got me two shirts from American Eagle and the new MXPX cd

they are one of my favorite bands.

Tim took Friday and Saturday off so we could spend time together

we pretty much went shopping the whole day. Tim's mom gave my

$75 for my birthday and I needed some new clothes. I got the shirt that i'm

wearing in this picture and some tan shorts at old navy for a really good price.

On my birthday Tim made me breakfast. He makes a really good omlet

(i'm not sure if thats how you spell omlet?)

Anyways we went shopping more Saturday too, then

we went to the movies and saw Mall Cop, which was really funny.

And we ate a Red Robin later that evening.

Roger gave me a pink and white tennis racket last Sunday that

I can't wait to use.

What we have been up to over the last year.

Over the last year we have had a lot of fun. We have gone to a lot of games, concerts, and had a little mini vacation. I thought I would post some pictures to better explain our fun. Enjoy! -Tim I love this picture!
Vanella measures up to the monkey

We spent some time at the Hogle Zoo as well. We had to measure up to the monkeys!

We went to Warped Tour this year. This is us with Fred from The Color Fred.

Every so often, we get to use my tickets from work though that are on the 14th row.

We used them for this game against the Bulls

We go to a lot of Jazz games. We had about half a season package of tickets. They

weren't the best seats in the world, but it is always a blast to go to the games.

This was at the home opener this year against Denver. We are wearing our new

Deron Williams jerseys.

This is after the Utah vs. BYU game. The Utes dominated and the fans rushed

the field behind us to celebrate the undefeated season and championship!

We have season tickets for Univeristy of Utah football. This is at the Utah vs TCU game.

We are wearing all black because the Utes did a blackout. It was really cool, and

of coarse the Utes won.

Vanella got to ride a tiger at the Zoo

For the 4th of July we went up to Idaho Falls with Roger and Cassie. We stayed with

Richard and Ginny. It was a blast! We went to the Zoo, and to an Egyptian exhibit and

the museum. We also went to a BBQ. The fireworks were great too.

I spent some time working with some more bands this year. This is Johnathan from

We Shot the Moon after a show I put together with them.

This is at the Secondhand Serenade show. We had a lot of fun at this show. This

is John from Secondhand Serenade with us.

Snickers Present

This was at Tim's parents house during christmas. Tim got his dog a present, and this is Snickers opening it. It's pretty funny.

unemployment

Well I applied for unemployment so we will be getting 158 every week for a while. that should help some so that Tim's check isn't gone the mintue we get it. Hopefully I can find a job soon. It seems like I've been to so many interviews but noboday will hire me. A lot of places are not hiring tell may.
Things really suck right now. we can't drive either of our cars because they both need to be registered and inspected and we don't have the money to fix it. So we have been walking everywhere. I can't really go to job interviews unless there close by because I have no way of getting there. Tim has been walking to work and back everyday. Tim's pay keeps getting cut and H&R screwed up our taxes so we have been waiting for ever to get the rest of our money. And we just found out they forgot to send in a form that we needed so it will take even longer. The good thing is they are paying us back all the fees we payed for having them do our taxes but it's still not very much.

Job interview

Well I have another job interview on Monday at the Pirate Island Pizza, so hopefully I get this one. I'm sick of not being able to pay the bills. So every one pray for me that I get this.

Limo ride

This was inside a limo we got to ride. Some poeple outside the hotels we were walking past stopped us and asked us if we would come listen to there presentation it was a sales things about owning your vacation. But they said we got to ride in a limo and we got free lunch, and we got $100 disney cash. So we were both up for it. We went and listened to their presentation said we weren't interested and got $100 dollars to spend in disneyland it was well worth the 90 minute presentation.
