MDA Lunch Lock Up

Hey Everybody! This Wednesday, I am participating in a "Lock Up" at Carraba's in Orem to help raise money for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association). I really need everybody's help that can make it.  They are locking my friend Andy and I up in a mock jail that they have set up, and as people put in donations, they are "paying our bail".  So, if you are able to come to this, please do! It's for a great cause and I would love to see all of you there. If you have any questions, feel free to call. Carraba's is located in the University Mall parking lot. I hope to see you Wednesday!

Tim's Birthday

Tim's birthday we both had the day off together.

We were going to go golfing in the morning but his work

decided they were going to do a conference call so

we didn't get to do that. We went shopping and later

we went and saw the Wolverine movie, we both really liked it.

Then we went to dinner at Wingers because that's Tims favorite place

to eat.

One of the presents I got Tim. He likes to collect those. Only
certain players though.

Pizza

Here is a really quick pizza recipe that I love.

The crust doesn't take very long to make and you

can put whatever toppings you want on it

This is one I made just barely its alfredo, spinich, bacon and cheese

Its so good!

Pizza Crust:

2 and 3/4 Cup Flour

1 Cup Warm Water

1 Tablespoon Yeast

1 and 1/2 tsp. Sugar

1 and 1/2 Tablespoon Shortening

(I always use butter instead because I never have shortening)

Preheat oven to 350.

put the yeast and sugar in a bowl then add the warm water stir

and allow the sugar and yeast to dissolve

Mix in the rest of the ingredients

Roll out dough and place on greased pizza pan

Bake crust for 10 min remove and add sauce and toppings

then bake for an additional 10-15 minutes

The dough only makes enough for one pizza unless you want really thin crust

anyways enjoy!

I got the Job

Well everyone I got the job at Target!! so I'm really happy! I have to pass a drug test but that shouldn't be a problem. I'll be working on the sales floor in the womens area. I'm really gratefull because Heavenly Father answered our prayers and I fasted that I would get this job. yay!

My Hair Skills

Erica had me do her hair before she went and got pictures done

for her wedding.

looks pretty darn good! anyone else that wants their hair done

it's fifteen bucks. haha I wish

Utes Quilt

So this post is mainly for Jessica because she wanted to see my quilt

It's not very good because I designed it and didn't have a pattern to go by.

I just figured the dimensions of a queen size and figured out how many

squares I would need. I made it for Tim for Valentines day last year.

Its a Utah Utes blanket because thats his favorite college football team.

I have only made one other quilt and I just designed the top and

it was for relief society and they were going to tie it and give it to

families that needed them so I don't have a picture of that one

I used the white material with the utes logo and detail to make the U.

Jill let me use her sewing machine to sew the ends of the quilt because mine isn't

very good when the fabric is thick.

Vanella's Birthday

Tim Got me two shirts from American Eagle and the new MXPX cd

they are one of my favorite bands.

Tim took Friday and Saturday off so we could spend time together

we pretty much went shopping the whole day. Tim's mom gave my

$75 for my birthday and I needed some new clothes. I got the shirt that i'm

wearing in this picture and some tan shorts at old navy for a really good price.

On my birthday Tim made me breakfast. He makes a really good omlet

(i'm not sure if thats how you spell omlet?)

Anyways we went shopping more Saturday too, then

we went to the movies and saw Mall Cop, which was really funny.

And we ate a Red Robin later that evening.

Roger gave me a pink and white tennis racket last Sunday that

I can't wait to use.
