Vegas!

Last week for spring break Tim and I went to
Vegas for a couple days just to get away and relax from work
and school.  It was really fun, and the weather was
in the eighty's which I love!

We stayed at the Luxor which is a big pyramid and I've been
wanting to stay there because I love Egyptian stuff.
This is a view from just outside our room.
This is the outside of the hotel.
This is one of the statues inside the hotel that was really cool.

Monday we mostly walked the strip and went into the different hotels and looked
at the different shops they had.
This is the statue of liberty made out of jelly belly's it
was pretty cool.

Tuesday we went to see the Titanic exhibit, which was
really amazing to see all the artifacts.
We also went to the Bodies exhibit.  We went to it when they
brought it to Salt Lake but we decided to see it again, they had
some different things that we didn't get to see the last time we went.
They always have a big bin for people to throw away their cigarettes
after actually seeing what it does to your lungs and other organs.

After that we went to the Shark Reef Aquarium.
I liked the Komodo Dragon I didn't realize how big they
were.
I don't know what kind of shark this is but it is really cool looking

Later we decided to walk down the strip the the Fashion Show Mall which is
huge.
Then when it got dark we decided to walk back so we could see
all the lights on the strip.

We got to see the volcano erupt at the Mirage.
The fountain of Zeus lit up
The fountain show at the Bellagio
The M&M store
New York, New York and MGM Hotels
ExCalibur Hotel
Finally a picture of the Luxor lit up

We both had a good time and It was a good first
visit to Las Vegas for me. Even though I went when
I was really little, I don't remember a lot from then.
We got to see and do a lot in two days and Wednesday
morning we ate a great breakfast at the Luxor cafe and
then flew home.

WOW, thanks for sharing, Vanella. Great pictures and Lot enjoyed the animal pictures and the M&M guy. Yah, we went to Las Vegas a few times and stayed with Bill and Paula but I think we only walked or drove through the strip at night once. Fun though. I remember going when I was young and you could almost walk the whole way and see both ends. I remember it was very small and that the Golden Nugget was the biggest sign.
